$56 a night. For a campsite?


Yesterday, we drove from North Bay, Ontario to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. A fairly long day, but the drive went fine. We stopped at a couple of waterfalls along the way to take some pictures and stretch our legs.

And we were disappointed to learn that we will never be able to camp in Ontario Provincial Parks!

I got through Duluth yesterday easier than I thought was possible, and traveled east on Hwy. 28.  I would have driven US 2 but it was much longer distance-wise, so I decided to do both, cutting down to US 2 further east. Unfortunately last night...

I've been looking for tent camping sites along Lake Superior in Ontario, Canada.  There are provincial parks, but their rates seem high.  I guess I'm used to paying the senior rate at US National Park and Forest Service campgrounds,...
