Guests Can Dine at Both Properties to Enjoy Cuisine from Asian Fusion to Italian

ORANJESTAD, ARUBA – (September 12, 2012) – If variety truly is the spice of life, then guests of the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives who appreciate fine food are in for quite a treat. Featuring more venues at which to enjoy a meal and a surprising range of international cuisines, dining at these two sister properties is a memorable affair.

Food aficionados can eat somewhere different each day, sampling an array of tempting tastes at any of the nine dining venues, as guests staying at one property also have full use of all services, facilities and amenities of the other located just steps away. Unlike the typical all-inclusive fare, every meal is a culinary experience at the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba.

The epitome of “east meets west,” Ginger is the Asian-fusion restaurant located at the Tamarijn Aruba. Serving up eclectic, exotic plates from the other side of the globe, guests can enjoy meticulously plated creations such as Spicy Green Curry Chicken with shrimp to Tokyo Beef Noodles. In addition, there is an assortment of sushi to sample that begs to be topped off with a dessert such as the exquisite Ginger Lemon Cream. As a result of its growing popularity since opening in 2007, a second Ginger restaurant that is separate from the properties’ all-inclusive offerings debuted in March at The Shops at the Alhambra Casino, just across the way from the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba.

Tokyo Beef Noodles

Ingredients:
½ lb beef Tenderloin
1 Onion
1 Green or red bell pepper
1 Carrot
2 oz Shitake mushrooms
One package Egg noodles, pre-cooked al dente
Splash of Sake wine (approx 1 oz or to taste)
Splash of Oyster sauce (approx 1 oz or to taste)
3 oz Sesame oil

Serves 4

Preparation:
Cut the beef in medium strips, sliced as for a stir fry, and pre-cook medium rare in a wok with 1 oz of sesame oil (3 to 5 minutes over med-high heat). Remove and set aside. Place the remaining 2 oz of sesame oil in the wok on med-high heat and bring to temperature. Slice the onions, bell peppers, carrot and shitake mushrooms; put these ingredients together in the wok with sesame oil and sauté them, add the diced tenderloin to the wok with the oyster sauce; then add the noodles and a splash of sake wine stir well together and serve.

Guests can continue to savor various flavors at the Divi Aruba’s signature restaurant, the Red Parrot, which features fine cuisine for dinner only served indoors or on the open-air covered terrace. A favorite menu selection of diners is the Coconut Shrimp served with Pumpkin Risotto, Curry Banana Sauce and Mango Chutney. Other popular delicacies are the Tuna Carpaccio appetizer and the perfect finish to a beachside meal, the Apple Pie Caribbean made with local cane syrup from the islands.

Meanwhile, the Tamarijn Aruba’s signature Paparazzi Restaurant, Bar and Lounge virtually transports guests to the vibrant heart of Italy.  After feasting on classic Italian fare from hearty pastas to fresh fish or tender meat accompanied by a choice vintage to pair with the meal, a rich tiramisu or Frutte Fresche is an excellent way to complete the occasion.  Locavores, especially, will appreciate that Paparazzi uses herbs grown on property, such as basil, parsley and mint, in its dishes.  Do-it-yourselfers who want to prepare their own sumptuous meal can try the Palm Grill, also located at the Tamarijn Aruba, where they can have fun stir-frying their own shrimp, swordfish, chicken or beef mixed with fresh vegetables and rice on specialty grill tables.

With highly trained and experienced chefs and a remarkably attentive wait staff, every patron can feel like royalty while eating a meal fit for a king.  Add in the beachfront setting and the combination creates an unexpectedly delightful experience that’s truly all inclusive dining at its best.
