It's fun being a grandparent, but a week alone with the grandkids is just about enough. I think that we forget the amount of work involved with looking after little ones. Man, it takes an extra half hour or so just to get out the door to take them somewhere.
Thankfully, our daughter and her husband return from Cuba this evening, and they can take over once again!

- Back To Work!
Well, for most people in Canada and the U.S., today marks the return to work and school as the Christmas and New Year's season comes to a close. Here in Mexico though, holidays continue through to January 6 which is Three Kings Day (Dia de los Reyes)....

I'm hopeful that things will start looking up again. I took Jeannie to her appointment this morning, but she declined donuts today. Another time. I returned the Garmin GPS to Costco. I believe it has all the features of my old GPS...
- Three Days Of Hell . . .
. . .before the temps go down to the lower 90's, if indeed they do. It is difficult to read other blogs from folks who are experiencing cool weather once again, but then Sacramento has had a mild summer, heat-wise. Fall is going to be a scorcher though....
