- We Were Right...
This is a very quiet peaceful spot to hang out for a few days. That could change today and tomorrow as they fill the big hot springs pool, but even if it does get a little busy, it won't bother us. We enjoy seeing people out having fun. It turns out...

Well, we had another "situation" yesterday that threw our schedule off a little bit. Day two of the Canada Day long weekend here. So, still really busy, another nice day, beach is packed with day use users, campground full, pancake breakfast...

Boy, it's getting busy here at Hacienda Contreras! Another six rigs showed up yesterday. I think I counted nineteen RV's here now! Barb says their record was twenty two at one time so it's getting close. We've never been here when it's...

Well, I said we would be busy here, and we have been. Took us a little while to get going yesterday morning, but then we packed a few snacks and headed out on the 4 wheel drive ATV's up into the hills with Gary. Click here to read more......

Around 9:20am we left Whiskey to look after Sherman, and walked to el Centro (downtown) which was only about a 15 minute walk. We’re on a busy street, and we wanted to explore some of the churches and buildings so it didn’t make sense to have Whiskey...
