We decided to take a drive on the coast, with no real plans other than to stop where we felt like it along the way, and try and avoid traffic. We are only about 20 miles from the coast, so we left at about 10:00am, with plans to get back home around 4:00pm.
We started off at Dana Point, where I had found free parking near the big marina there. We had fun looking at all of the boats and seeing how the rich people live!

- Moving...but Very Slowly!
On Wednesday, we made it to Lo de Marcos. A whole 18 kms (11 miles) up the coast! Not that we're in any rush. But we are wanting to make it to Mazatlan for Christmas, and we want to stop in San Blas for a night or two. So we can't linger too long...

We don't really have any plans as to how far we drive each day, and yesterday it turned out that we didn't drive very far. We just stop if we see a spot worthwhile to stop at. If not, we keep driving. Click here to read more......

I'm not sure why, but my internal clock is giving me fits. Yesterday I slept in until 9:30am, and last night I just couldn't stay asleep after about 4 hrs. I finally got up before 5am and decided to go ahead and make coffee and breakfast. ...
