HONG KONG: Watch out! The buildings are falling down!


Hong Kong is the place with the biggest number of skyscrapers in the world: about 1250 buildings. If you take a tram to Victoria Peak, the highest mountain of Hong Kong, seems the skyscrapers are falling down.

The illusion happens because our brain can distinguish front, behind, up, down, but may not perceive clearly when something is on the vertical. For this reason, the passengers see this illusion which makes look like the buildings are falling down.
