I've been cold all day, and while the sun is finally shining it's too late for its rays to warm me or my house. There's no doubt I could have warmed myself by getting busy and doing things around the house, but wrapping up in a fleecy throw, turning on the TV, and going to sleep seemed to have been a better option.
I've noticed for the past week that I'm increasingly suffering from carpal tunnel pain in my right hand - the hand that controls the cursor! I am going to have to do something to reduce my computer usage or it's only going to get worse.
Every time I walk into the kitchen I see the elliptical sitting there, and I swear sometimes it winks at me. I would be using it right now except I have my sandals on and not the proper shoes for it. If you are wondering why I keep it in the kitchen, it's because I can set it close enough to grab on to something to break my fall if I should lose my balance - the fridge or the countertop is very good for this purpose. So far I've been ok though and haven't lost my balance - just gotten incredibly tired knees and legs.
As much as I've been wanting a beer for the past few days, I haven't opened one yet. I think maybe tonight's the night.

Autumn and Arianna (Jeannie's) were over last night for a couple of hours. They are so much fun and I can have adult conversations with them. I hope to see Alyssa and Keira (Joe's) today as I have Keira's birthday present...

I'm not coughing as much as I was, except at night. I find it so difficult to get decent sleep because of the coughing, plus the heater cycling on and off. I need to set the thermostat back - the only time I really need it is in the morning....
