In search of a moose

Immature bald eagle flies by

Buckskin glory

Male Grosbeaks

I looked for a moose again yesterday but these photos show what I found instead. Really, when you think about it, moose are ugly creatures with their big oversized heads and their dark bodies. But I still want a moose.

Took a rare blogging day off yesterday. I was looking at the map again...I must be getting itchy to get on the road! We'll be heading for Moose Jaw when we leave here, and then pretty much straight south from there. At least this way it'll be...

- Our First Visitors!
The campground we're managing is kind of off the beaten path. So when people who know us make a special effort to come and visit, we're really appreciative! Late Monday afternoon, Wendy and her friend Phil showed up for a four night stay! You...

- We Finally Saw A Moose!
We hiked a 14 km (8.8 mile) trail yesterday and right when we had to turn around at the end of the trail we spotted a moose. We almost missed her, even though she was less than 50 feet away. Click here to read more......
