Just a short note to say that our drive from Monterrey and our border crossing at Laredo were both totally uneventful. We are now in Texas. Not sure where we're going to end up tonight, but we will try and post a complete update later on today, provided we have internet access!

Well, we're only 160 miles (260 kms) from the Mexico border! We'll do some last minute preparations today, and then head for Laredo for tonight and cross the border tomorrow morning. Click here to read more......

We were up at 6:30am yesterday to get an early start for the border. The Columbia Bridge border crossing is actually about 25 miles (40 kms) west of the city of Laredo. We like this crossing because it’s never busy and there is lots of easy parking...
