We were up early, and drove right away for a half hour or so in order to warm things up. Temperature inside Sherman was about 50F (10C) so it was a chilly night. Not a cloud in the sky though, so that usually makes things a little colder overnight.

Slept fine. Definitely chilly at 9,600 feet though. Outside temperature when we woke up was -1C (30F) and inside was only a couple of degrees better! Had to run the furnace for a half an hour or so this morning. Click here to read more......

Had a totally peaceful sleep last night…didn’t hear a sound. But it did get chilly. We usually leave the furnace off when we go to bed, and only turn it on if one of us gets up in the night to do so. When we got up at 6:30am or so it was 41F (5.5C)...

- Went For A Hike...
Tuesday November 13...11:00pm Drove about 25 km's to a fairly steep dirt road that we had to do another 4 km's on in order to get to the trailhead for Bluenose Trail. It's about a 2 ½ hour hike that takes you to 2 different lookout points....
- Middle Of Nowhere...near Beaverdell
Friday November 9...7:00pm Sure enough, we didn't need the furnace last night. Woke up and it was still 9 degrees inside. We're at the point now that if it's over 5 degrees inside when we wake up, then we're doing just fine! Got up and...
