Finally had another good night’s sleep. I didn’t bother going to the doctor because the ear pain had pretty much disappeared. Still a little clogged up I think, but not enough to worry about. Had a bad headache most of the day though, and I don’t get headaches! So hopefully another good night sleep will fix things up. Ruth has been fine through all of this, and Alex has his sunburn to worry about.

We didn't set the alarm Friday night because we knew we needed a good nights sleep. But we also wanted to do a long drive Saturday and so we wanted to get a fairly early start. Turned out we got a good sleep and we were on the road just before 9:00am....
- Playa Zicatela (day 5)
It’s our last day here at Playa Zicatela, and Alex and I wanted to spend it on the beach. So we got walked down there fairly early (around 10:00am) and paid the 100 pesos ($8.33) for the nice lounge chairs and umbrella. Click here to read more......

I stayed at Jeannie's house last night so I could be up early and have her to the dentist office at 7:10. We were there for about two hours, then went to Kaiser Permanente to get her pain med Rx filled. For certain drugs they now require...

After getting dressed I decided I didn't feel like going anywhere, but then got a message from my doctor that I could go to the local clinic for my blood tests and flu shot, no appointment necessary. Since I have an appointment to see her tomorrow...

Playa Zicatela (day 2)
