Radisson Aruba Accommodations III

Bonaire Tower Deluxe Ocean Garden View
If view is most important to you, book a Deluxe Ocean Gardenview Aruba Tower or for a higher price and additional amenities, Plaza Club Deluxe Ocean Garden View. These are the highest category of rooms before suites.

Plaza Club rooms are located on the 7th and 8th floors of the Aruba Tower. All Aruba Tower rooms are premium rooms, larger guest rooms and larger baths, over those in the Bonaire and Curacao Towers.

Worried about overlooking a parking lot? The only rooms I can think of which overlook the parking lot would be the upper floors of the Curacao Building, furthest from the ocean, mainly on the south side. These rooms actually have a view of the Riu's parking and towers. If your room is on a higher floor, you would also have a view of the ocean, though at a distance.

Aruba Bound
Rooms in the Aruba Tower are even numbered on the side facing the pool and ocean, and odd numbered rooms face the Occidental northwards. Odd numbered rooms on lower floors with overlook more of the Occidental and island than ocean itself. Lower floor rooms on this side of the building will have limited or no view. Rooms on higher floors on the north facing side of the tower, opposite from the ocean/pool side which will have a partial oceanview. If you look down, will have a roof below. Looking straight out from the room you will see the ocean. The higher the number of the room, the better the view.

As a guide as to which building to request, it is going to be a personal preference.

Aruba Bound
The appeal of staying in the Bonaire tower is that it is most centrally located to the two zero entry free form swimming pools as well as the beach. The Bonaire tower has the best gardenviews, but the rooms and baths are the smallest out of the three towers, though large enough for two people.

The Curacao tower has some beautiful gardenviews and rooms only slightly smaller than the Aruba tower. Personally I think the walls are thicker in the Curacao tower and thinner in the Aruba tower. Request an odd numbered room for a view of the gardens. There are some nice partial oceanviews on the upper floors of this tower as well.

You will get what you pay for in terms of views from your room, whether it be no view, garden view or ocean view, based upon the category of room which you book. Booking a room by Tower will determine location within the resort, with the Bonaire Tower being the most centrally located and the Aruba Tower being the tallest tower. The Curacao Tower is set furthest back from the ocean, however has nice size rooms and great views from the upper floors, especially higher numbered rooms. Odd numbered rooms in the Curacao Tower, Deluxe Ocean Garden View, will have the best views short of booking a Curacao Suite.

With this said, some considerations are the money you save by booking a Guestroom or Gardenview category room and putting the money you save towards excursions or meals.

If you have to have the biggest and the best, the only "larger" rooms with a sofa bed are the suites. The Petite Bonaire Suite is the least expensive suite with a separate bedroom with king size bed and full living room with queen size sleep sofa and step out only balcony. Full Bonaire Suites have a balcony off of the bedroom. Curacao and Aruba Suites are larger, with the Aruba suite being the largest suites and oceanfront views.
