Travel Fashion: Exploring the Outdoors in Style

I have to admit I've long been a huge fan of North Face. I love the quality of their clothes and the overall awesomeness of the brand.

A while ago we announced that we had a change of heart and that we were more and more eager to explore quaint villages and the great outdoors. We have some nice surprises in store for 2014, however, before anything else, a change of wardrobe is in place.

I simply love this Upland HyVent Jacket from North Face. It is waterproof, yet light and ideal for spring and autumn like weather conditions.

You might ask why on earth would I go hiking dressed in white, but honestly, I hate black lately and I'm more and more into changing my wardrobe for light and colorful clothes.

It might be a personal choice and it might go against every single packing tip you've read so far, but I'm a strong believer that the way we dress reflects ones feelings and attitude towards life and I'm just not ready to settle for mourning clothes.

I also find this jacket elegant enough to wear for a walk in the park, plus it's really easy to maintain and all in all it looks so cool and it's so comfortable to wear!

On the other hand, the Jozie Insulated boots from The North Face are so incredibly awesome, that after yesterday's photo-shooting session in the park I didn't want to take them off. They are so comfortable that I could sleep with them on, believe me! They have a super elegant design, and are guaranteed to keep the feet warm. They are actually more for winter and cold weather conditions and great for both hiking and exploring a city.

I am a big fan of elegant and comfortable clothes. And because traveling is such a large part of my life, I don't want to compromise when it comes to my style, but rather embrace who I am.

What's your fashion style? Do you make adjustments to your style when you travel?

- See You Next Year, Santa!
Another Christmas has come and gone, and I'm still reeling!   Our family had a wonderful gathering, with lots of love and laughs. I am drinking a super tasty cup of coffee this morning, made possible by my new Mr. Coffee.  One of my...

- Calendar Error
My calendar shows that it's the 2nd Friday in February, but I'm sure there have been more than that.  I seems to me that Friday comes along about every 3 or 4 days!   And to add to the confusion, our temperatures will be in the...

- Stay Home For A Change
I decided that today I would stay home and get some work done that I've been putting off doing.  Three loads of laundry was at the top of my list.  I pulled a clean bath towel from the linen cupboard this morning and it was line-dried, stiff...

- Another Week Gone By
On Wednesday I went to see Liam's swim lesson but he decided he didn't feel like swimming, so we just sat and talked, then went out for dinner.  I had tortilla soup that was so spicy I thought it would give me a problem later, but I felt...

- Not Many Blogs Today?
I have only been able to read a few blogs today as most have not appeared in my sidebar.  I'll take it that most of you are just taking a break today rather than a problem with Blogger.  So far I've had pretty good luck with being able...
