Travel Massive, Cape Town

When we had the opportunity to be one of the organizers of Travel Massive, Cape Town we of course jumped at the chance to be involved with a cool international brand like this.

..... But we didn't realize we would be creating a monster.

Along with our co organizers and sponsors Travel Start and Incidental Tourist we have been completely over whelmed with the interest and support in our Travel Massive events.

The Travel Massive concept is very simple, FREE travel Industry events for people who love travel and who want to make the travel industry better.

The simple concept seems to be working as Travel Massive is now in 50 cities around the world and Cape Town is simply loving it.

Our second event was held at I Love My Laundry on Bree St and our sponsors included local Bree St businesses who provided the drinks and snacks.

We limited the numbers of attendees to 120 and couldn't believe our eyes when 90 people confirmed within 48 hours through our event page

We eventually reached 135 attendees!

On the agenda for the evening was lots of wine, snacks and networking plus a few words from the founder of Travel Massive who flew in from Sydney to be at the event.

We also had special guest from Toronto,Travel Massive's youngest member who is a 16 year old bloggers traveling the world with her mother.
