VIDEO: Midnight Sun In Iceland

The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon occurring in the summer months north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle, during which period the sun remains visible 24 hours a day.

Iceland during the midnight sun is in sort of a permanent state of sunset. Combine that with one of the most beautiful places in the world and you get a very unusual, and spectacular landscape.

If Iceland wasn't on my bucket list before, it surely is now. And if this video doesn't convince you too to visit Iceland at least for a few days next summer, I don't know what will. Mother Nature rocks! Canon too :)

What fabulous places are on YOUR bucket list?

- Back To Iceland

- Iceland Golden Circle Tour
We were up early again yesterday because Reykjavik Excursions was picking us up at our hotel at 8:30am for the Golden Circle day tour. This is one of their most popular tours, and if you only have a short time in Iceland then it's a good way to...

- Iceland?
You may have noticed that we are going to Iceland! I don't know why, but I've always wanted to go to Iceland. It's not really a place that you make a point of going to though. But we were trying to figure a way back to Canada, and this interesting...

- The Northern Lights And Other Reasons To Visit The Arctic
Have you always been the sort of person who is more at home in the chill of winter than the baking heat of the summer sun? Are you the sort of person who favors breathtaking views and spectacular scenery over a sun lounger and a beach towel? If you are,...

- Video: Solo Hiking Through Iceland & The Psychology Of The Adventure Traveler
It's become a fashion in the last years for people of all ages to try to go the extra mile. But my background in psychology tells me this is no coincidence, not now when depression is transforming into an epidemic. We live in a donkey with a carrot...
