Backing Up Photos While Traveling on a SanDisk Flash Drive

For our trips we always look for several ways to back up our photos and documents, as we don't want to rely only on the hard disc of our laptop. Our best photos and our most important documents end up usually also on several Flash Drives. From time to time we renew our flash drives, as every year companies impress us with devices boasting with faster speeds and bigger memory. SanDisk 64GB Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive is our choice for this year.

The SanDisk 64GB Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive is one of the fastest USB drives that we could find. Sometimes after a long day of sightseeing and taking photos, we don't have the patience anymore for slow devices. This drive is the fastest offered by SanDisk and it is also one of the fastest USB 3.0 Flash drives to be offered by any company. It is rated to have up to 190MB/s read, and 170MB/s in write performance. We also like the data security, the 128-bit AES encryption and the fact that the SecureAccess Software is easy to use. This way we can secure some of our most important documents. The SanDisk Extreme Flash Drive has a blue activity LED light at one end that flashes when transferring data and remains off when not being actively used. The USB 3.0 header is the traditional blue color.

We chose the SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive because it was built with the latest flash memory technology and it was obvious to us that it was designed from the ground up to be a performance oriented product. We find it to be the fastest way to move  HD videos, high-resolution photos, and other bulky files from one laptop to another and to back up our most important photos while on the go.

- Quitting Time For Today
I was sitting in my comfortable office chair sorting photos & misc., and when I swiveled in the chair I somehow knocked over a nearly full can of beer I had just opened.  Fortunately for me the beer didn't get on any of the pictures - that...

- A Few Comments
I received a comment from Anonymous to my dilemma about not finding an eyebrow pencil.  I used Clinique cosmetics for years, although I quit wearing make-up when I lived in Ireland, and I am anxious to get to the mall and visit Macy's cosmetics...

- More On File Transfers
On the way to the library today I stopped at Target and bought a high-speed file share cable.  Theoretically I can simply move the two computers close together and plug in the USB cables, and do a Mac to Mac transfer of files - plug and play, no...

- Weird Weather
While Sacramento was inundated with rain overnight and most of today, the Sierras are getting snowed in.   But the most surprising is that tornados have touched down in Yuba City,  about 50 miles north.  Then I heard on the weather channel...

- Sandisk Sansa Fuze+ Review. Music On The Go
Smartphones are wonderful. One can do every basic computer task right from the mobile, watch movies and listen to favorite music. But when I travel I cannot always charge my mobile phone while on the go. Sometimes I am worried that while on the plane...
