Tarriss Money Belt and Luggage Locks #Giveaway

You know how they say better safe than sorry? It doesn't get any truer than when you travel. Safety is one of the main reasons people mention whenever they are asked why they don't travel more often. But to be honest, as long as you take certain safety precautions and use some common sense, the world is not such a scary place. I've been traveling the world for over a decade and nothing bad ever happened to me.

I have to admit I never took unnecessary risks either. I kept my money safe and my eyes open. No, I do not travel in fear. I simply learned a few smart tricks here and there and kept up with the times.

Like using only RFID products and locking my bags when leaving them behind in a hostel or while traveling through busy airports or train stations. It might not prevent someone from stealing your luggage altogether, but it will at least make the thieves think twice before 'accidentally' going through your bag.

Compared to traditional locks, the Tarriss locks take safety a step further as they come with a flexible cable and are TSA approved. Therefore, they can be unlocked and locked back again by the TSA agents without having to break the lock. Plus the SearchAlert indicator turns from 'green' to 'red' if the TSA has opened your luggage.

I was never a fan of bulky money belts. But the moment I saw the Tarriss money belt, I was instantly sold. I could totally wear this!

The Tarriss money belt has an incredibly slim design, it is light and comes in tan color, which makes it easier to dissimulate when worn under the clothes.

It has two main compartments, one of them with two mesh pockets inside, where you can easily fit your cash, credit cards, and passport. Plus it is made out of electromagnetically opaque shielding material that will protect you against credit card and identity theft.

My favorite thing about the Tarriss money belt? Boy, it is soft! Not only the belt was an incredibly smooth finish, but the elastic strap is particularly soft and feels so nice to the touch.
