Let's Go Fly A Kite
Las Fallas might be the most famous festival in the Valencian calendar, but this doesn't mean the fun stops here. At the beginning of the last century Valencia used to have over 100 festive days per year. And though the number has been dramatically reduced to fit the modern working schedule, there are still plenty opportunities to do something new. Like... flying a kite.
One week after Semana Santa, the International Kite Festival, or more romantically put, The Wind Festival, took over the Malvarrosa beach. And it was fun for all ages and very colourful! Not to mention the kites were humongous - up to 30 meters long!! Oh, and very, very cute!
