Paris Chocolate Festival. Finger Licking Good
Each October, Paris becomes the world capital of chocolate. The famous Salon du Chocolat takes place this year from October 20th to October 24th at Porte de Versailles. This is a chocolate extravaganza, the biggest chocolate festival in the world, and it brings together more than 400 top chocolatiers and chocolate experts, cocoa growers, pastry chefs, authors, and tens of thousands of chocolate lovers.
Paris Chocolate Festival (Salon du Chocolat) is the largest event dedicated to chocolate and has been a link between those who grow cocao and those who consume chocolate ever since 1995. Visitors can meet renowned chocolatiers and pastry chefs, sample the finest chocolates and other sweets, and watch chocolate- and pastry-making demonstrations.
The Salon will feature 160 stands spread over 12,000 square meters. Special events will take place too, like celebrations, performances, book signings and tasty chocolate workshops for children, but probably the one that captivates visitor's imagination most is the already famous Chocolate Dresses Fashion Show, one of the most incredible fashion shows out there. Forget Lady Gaga's meat dress. Chocolate dresses are way cooler.
Would you rather wear or eat these dresses?
